The source of inspiration for the collection comes from the cubist work of the French artist Robert Delaunay (pioneer of abstract art in the first half of the 20th century) and his wife, the textile designer Sonia Delaunay.

These artists discover in the geometric drawings that are born from the so-called "vibrating plates", the visual spectrum of sound. And they take cubism as a technique of decomposition of the textile sheet by means of geometric figures that come together, representing all the parts on the same plane.

How are these concepts incorporated into my collection?

The geometric shapes invade the compositions. The forms that are observed in nature will be translated to the sheet in a simplified way, in cubes, cylinders, spheres, and the intervention will be given by means of patchwork and/or cuts and shapes in the garments. The knit fabrics will be gathered at the joints, to achieve texture and volume.

And within the fantasy, printed and woven fabrics, we can find dots, stripes and plaid, which are used in the garment in an original way or by intervening it. These fantasies give a character of regularity and control to the surface and, through form and deconstruction, it breaks with the structured and linear, arriving at a harmonic and feminine form, "a form with sound".

Color is the base and it is experimented with abstract harmonies of it, which generate movement and dynamism to the body.
